Kooree Cabin

In response to COVID-19 and recent announcements by the Federal Government, all Girl Guides Campsites have pressed pause on taking bookings.

Kooree Guide Cabin is set on twenty acres of natural bushland with bush walks to waterfalls, natural watercourses and cleared areas for picnics. There is also a Bush Chapel a short distance from the cabin.
There is an extraordinarily cosy open fireplace in the cabin and a library which may be utilised.
Besides the comfortable accommodations of the cabin, there is also a small campsite situated within the beautiful surroundings.


Accommodation x 24

Kooree Guide Cabin sleeps twenty-four, with eight double bunks in the sleeping dormitory room and an extra four vinyl covered mattresses. There is a separate Leaders room with two double bunks. Pillows provided. Just bring your own bedding, including pillow cases and single fitted sheets.

 

Kitchen

The kitchen provides catering for up to thirty people.
There is an outdoor wood fired BBQ with lighting. A smaller gas BBQ is also available.
Please check current fire regulations before using the BBQ.

 

Camping

This property offers camping for two bell tents or several dome tents in a natural  bush setting adjacent to the cabin.
There are two bathrooms: one double with two separate showers and two toilets, and one single bathroom, which is wheelchair accessible.

Where to find us

1913 Wisemans Ferry Rd, Central Mangrove, NSW, 2250. 15 mins from the M1 at Mount White taking Route 33.
Driving is recommended to get to Kooree. Take Peats Ridge Road (Route 33) from the M1 then the left fork at The Springs Golf Course. Follow the Kooree Cabin signs and turn left at Central Mangrove Crossroads. Continue  for 1km, with the Cabin on the left hand side of Wisemans Ferry Road. If you get to Propran Creek, you’ve gone too far.
