Rejectamenta

Its a race......to collect clothes for charity!

Rejectamenta is an annual Girl Guides event at the City2Surf fun run. Each year, we make an appeal for Units to volunteer at the event, and collect clothes discarded by runners during the race. These collected clothes are donated to The Salvation Army, who in turn distribute them to people and communities in need. This is a great service opportunity for Girl Guides, right in the middle of the action of a landmark Sydney event!

Now in its 25th year, this event is not just a service event but also a fundraising opportunity for Units to help raise money for their Districts. Each participant will earn money for participating in this event. This event is open to all Youth Members, Unit Leaders & Helpers, Bring a Friends and Adult Helpers.

Note: This event has a capacity of 100, but there are additional volunteer roles available for other activities at the Race. You must come as a Unit to participate.
